Aegean Miles+Bonus Promotion: Earn Up To 5,000 Miles

Aegean Miles+Bonus Promotion: Earn Up To 5,000 Miles

Though not as well-known as other major Star Alliance programs, Aegean Miles+Bonus is one of the best frequent flyer programs to earn the Star Alliance Gold tier. And this time, the program is offering a bonus on flights taken within Greece or abroad.

Aegean Miles+Bonus: 1,000 Award Miles For Every 3 Flights

Between November 5, 2022, to March 31, 2023, Aegean Airlines is offering 1,000 additional award miles for every 3 flights. The flights must be with Aegean or Olympic Air, its sister airline to destinations within Greece and internationally. But sadly there is a cap of a maximum of 5,000 award miles where members need to take at least 15 flights.

There seems to be no separate registration needed in order to activate this offer. Members just have to enter their Miles+Bonus ID during booking or check-in. Also, the bonus miles can be claimed after you took the flight within the promotional period.

Redeeming Aegean Miles+Bonus Miles

Aegean Miles+Bonus Miles is useful when it comes to redeeming on Star Alliance partners. It offers one of the best redemption rates on premium-class seats like Lufthansa’s first class. There is also a published award chart that has a fixed amount of miles required to fly so earning a couple of extra miles will definitely good for your redemption in the future.

The award chart by Aegean Airlines is based on a round-trip rate. If you are flying one-way, you can simply divide the number of miles by two. For example, a one-way first class from Europe or North Africa to the US costs only 75,000 miles.

Summary

Aegean Airlines’ Miles+Bonus program is offering up to 5,000 bonus award miles through March 31, 2023. On every 3 flights, members will receive 1,000 miles each and up to 15 flights. Aegean’s network is not wide as they mainly focus on European destinations so this offer is best for those who reside in Greece.
