British Airways has added a new selection of sparkling wine to Club World passengers so customers can enjoy the ‘best of British’ bubbles at 35,000ft.
British Airways Introduces English Sparkling Wines For Club World
The airline’s Master of Wine has worked carefully with several award-winning wineries and selected four new English Sparkling wines in Club World. Initially, the local sparkling wines were only available to First Class passengers.
British Airways will be offering these wines on a rotational basis, changing every three months. Currently, Club World is offering Champagne resident Heidsieck & Co. Monopole Silver Top Non-Vintage Champagne and on top of this passengers have a second option to drink from.

What Are The Sparkling Wines British Airways Will Serve?
The airline announced that the four new sparkling wines will be as follows:
- Digby Fine English Brut NV
- Balfour Rosé de Noirs
- Simpsons Chalklands Cuvee Brut NV
- Wiston Estate Brut NV
The Digby Fine English Brut NV will pair well with delicate dishes such as grilled cod with sweet potato mousseline, mozzarella mezzaluna or an after-dinner selection of cheeses.
The second wine, Balfour Rosé de Noirs will be a lighter rosé sparkling wine.
The third wine which has delicate notes of crisp green apple, the Simpsons Chalklands Cuvee Brut NV will only be available from October for three months and lastly, Wiston Estate Brut NV will be available starting January 2024.
