It has been some time since the IHG One Rewards program has been selling points with discounts or bonuses. After a long few months, it has finally launched the latest buy points promotion.

Buy IHG One Rewards Points With A 100% Bonus

Through March 21, 2023, the IHG One Rewards program is offering 100% bonus points when buying points. This promotion is targeted with a different percentage for each member so if you received an email from IHG, you will need to check your bonus.

Similar to the last buy points promotion, the maximum bonus offered is a 100% bonus and the bonus will be applied when buying points start at 5,000 points.

How Many IHG One Points Can You Purchase

You are able to purchase up to 150,000 points per calendar year before factoring in any bonuses. So during this promotion, you will be able to buy and receive a maximum of 300,000 points in total.

IHG One Rewards Points Pricing

IHG sells points at US$13.50 per block of 1,000. But during this promotion, you could buy up to 150,000 points and based on a 100% bonus offer, the value will decrease to 0.5 cents per point.

Redeeming IHG One Rewards Points

HG One Rewards uses dynamic award pricing and there are no officially published award charts. While to cost to redeem for a night at an IHG property might vary, it usually has a fixed amount of points for a free night.

For example, a night at Intercontinental Grand Seoul Parnas costs 36,000 points to redeem. With the cash price costing nearly US$300 per night, you can redeem 8 nights with the points offer that has the same price as 5 paid nights.

Summary

Through March 21, 2023, IHG One Rewards is selling points with up to a 100% bonus. With this promotion, you could buy points at a rate of 0.5 cents per point.

The promotion is not as lucrative as the last promotion, however, if you are considering a reward stay at properties that have a high revenue rate, it sure is a good deal to spend less amount of money.
