Wyndham Rewards usually sells up to 60,000 points per calendar year in increments of 1,000 points, excluding bonuses.
How Much Do Wyndham Rewards Point Cost
With the discount offer, members can purchase 60,000 points for US$585 which is 0.98 cents per point. So cost-wise, this is a fairly acceptable offer that is similar to Wyndham’s past promotions. The points purchased will be posted to your account within 72 hours after the completed transaction.
Actually, the discount offer has a similar rate per point compared to the bonus points promotions.
Redeeming Wyndham Rewards Points
Redeeming points at Wyndham properties is easy as there are more than 9,000 properties across the world. There are 20 brands under Wyndham’s portfolios and some of the hotels really have great rooms.
Wyndham properties usually cost somewhere around 7,500 points up to 30,000 points for award night rates fixed into three groups.
- Entry-Level properties usually need 7,500 points per night to redeem
- Mid-range properties cost 15,000 points per night
- High-end properties cost 30,000 points per night
The program has two options to redeem the points:

- Go Fast

In spite of great award rates, I would only consider buying Wyndham points for limited use like topping up insufficient points, since Wyndham properties are not too pricey after all.
