Buy Wyndham Rewards Points With A 35% Bonus

Wyndham Rewards has returned with a buy-points promotion which is likely to be the last promotion of the year and is going to be a great offer.

Buy Wyndham Rewards Points With A 35% Bonus

Through December 31, 2022, Wyndham Rewards is offering a 35% bonus on points purchased. The bonus points will be offered when purchasing 3,000 points and above in a single transaction.

How Many Wyndham Rewards Points Can You Buy

Wyndham Rewards usually sells up to 60,000 points per calendar year in increments of 1,000 points, excluding bonuses. However, for a limited time, the program has increased the maximum cap to 120,000 points. This means during this promotion, you can receive up to 162,000 points when you maxed out the bonus.

How Much Do Wyndham Rewards Point Cost

Before the bonus, members can purchase 60,000 points for US$780 which is US$0.013 per point but with the 35% bonus applied on the maximum limit, each point will cost as low as US$0.0096. So cost-wise, this is a fairly acceptable offer that is similar to Wyndham’s past promotions.

Points will be posted to your account within 72 hours after the completed transaction.

Redeeming Wyndham Rewards Points

Redeeming points at Wyndham properties is easy as there are more than 9,000 properties across the world. There are 20 brands under Wyndham’s portfolios and some of the hotels really have great rooms.

Wyndham properties usually cost somewhere around 7,500 points up to 30,000 points for award night rates fixed into three groups. The program has two options to redeem the points:

  • Go Free
  • Go Fast

The difference between the two options is – the “Go Free” rates are equivalent to the full-night award redemption where you can redeem a free night at Wyndham properties while the “Go Fast” option is similar to Cash & Points redemption.

In spite of great award rates, I would only consider buying Wyndham points for limited use like topping up insufficient points, since Wyndham properties are not too pricey after all.

Summary

Through the end of the year, Wyndham rewards is selling points with a 35% bonus. And for a limited time, the program has doubled the maximum limit of points that can be purchased.

Wyndham does have lucrative properties to redeem points but I would only consider buying points for interim use.
