Wyndham Rewards program has just launched its latest promotion offering a bonus on points purchased. And for a limited time, the maximum limit of purchase has also increased.
Buy Wyndham Rewards Points With A 40% Bonus

Through April 21, 2023, Wyndham Rewards is selling points with a 40% bonus. This promotion is especially great since the maximum purchase limit has doubled so it will be beneficial for members staying at Wyndham properties.
The bonus points will be applied when more than 3,000 points are purchased in a single transaction. Points purchased will be posted to your account within 72 hours.
How Many Wyndham Rewards Points Can You Buy
Wyndham Rewards usually sells up to 60,000 points per calendar year excluding bonuses. However, for a limited time, this has increased to 120,000. This means during this promotion, you can purchase up to 168,000 points if you max out including the bonus.
Wyndham Rewards points expire after 18 months of inactivity or four years after being earned.
How Much Do Wyndham Rewards Point Cost
Before the bonus, members can purchase 60,000 points for US$780 which is 1.3 cents per point but based on the 40% bonus on 120,000 points, each point will cost as low as 0.9 cents. So this seems to be a fairly acceptable offer.

Redeeming Wyndham Rewards Points
Redeeming points at Wyndham properties is easy as there are more than 9,000 properties across the world. There are 20 brands under Wyndham’s portfolios and some of the hotels really have great rooms.
To redeem Wyndham Rewards points the program has fixed award rates divided into three groups:
- Entry-Level properties usually need 7,500 points per night to redeem
- Mid-range properties cost 15,000 points per night
- High-end properties cost 30,000 points per night

Summary
Through April 21, 2023, Wyndham Rewards is offering a bonus of 40% when purchasing points. Furthermore, it has increased the maximum cap to 120,000 from 60,000 points.
Wyndham properties are not my favorites so I wouldn’t consider buying points since their hotel rates are reasonably priced. The only time I would consider buying points is when I have a few points extra needed to redeem for an award stay.
