Through 31 August 2022, IHG One Rewards is currently offering members 2X, 3X and 4X bonus points on qualifying nights. Here are the details:
- For stays from 2 ~5 nights: Earn 2X points
- Stays from 6 ~14 nights: Earn 3X points
- Stays from 15+ nights: Earn 4X points
Members first need to register here and after registering for the Promotion, members can earn IHG Rewards bonus points based on the number of qualifying nights they have during the promotion period. Over 6,000 IHG properties around the world from Holiday Inn to Six Senses are eligible to earn.

How Bonus Points are Calculated:
For this 2X, 3X and 4X bonus points promotion, points are calculated by the total number of regular “base points” and promotional “bonus points” combined will equal 2,3,4 times the base points the member would normally receive.
Here is an easy explanation for reference based on an IHG One Rewards Club member. For example, if you book a four-night at Intercontinental Saigon which costs US$231 daily, the 2X bonus will apply as it falls under 2~5 nights.
The bonus points are calculated from your second qualifying night’s rate which is US$231 as shown below. With 10 points per USD earn rate for base points, you would earn (231 x 10 points= 2,310 points) and an additional 2,310 promotional bonus points, for a total of 4,620 points.
The same calculation goes for 3X and 4X bonus points. Basically, it is the base points multiplied by 2, 3, or 4 per night. Keep in mind that the bonus points are capped at 100,000 points while IHG Rewards credit card holders can earn up to 106,000 points.
