Etihad Guest program has been occasionally selling miles this year and today, it has launched a bonus miles promotion which will be the last offer for this year.
Buy Etihad Guest Miles With A 45% Bonus

Through December 21, 2022, the Etihad Guest program is selling miles with a 45% bonus though the bonus seems to be targeted to some members only.
Etihad Guest is selling miles with bonus tiered as follows:

- Purchase between 21,000 ~ 40,000 miles and receive a 35% bonus
- Purchase between 41,000 ~ 100,000 miles and receive a 45% bonus
How Many Etihad Guest Miles You Can Buy
Etihad Guest members have a different miles purchase limit:
- Bronze to Gold members can purchase up to 100,000 miles per calendar year excluding bonuses
- Platinum members can purchase up to 150,000 miles per calendar year excluding bonuses

Etihad Guest Miles Pricing
Generally, Etihad Guest sells miles at a rate of US$20 per block of 1,000 miles. This is a rate of 0.2 cents per mile which I value to be a little high. But during this promotion, you are able to purchase 145,000 miles at a cost of US$2,000 which further reduce the cost per mile to 1.38 cents.

Redeeming Etihad Guest Miles
Etihad Airways has a couple of airline partners where you can redeem the miles. For example, you can redeem American Airlines flights in transcontinental first class for just 32,500 miles. Redeeming for awards seats on Etihad flights also have good value as you can redeem a one-way business class seat from Abu Dhabi to Singapore for 72,595 miles or to New York for 100,121 miles.

Given the price on these high-demand routes cost around US$4,000, you can possibly travel these routes with almost half the cost when taking advantage of this bonus miles offer.

Summary
Through December 21, 2022, Etihad Guest Program is offering up to a 45% bonus when purchasing miles which means you can buy up to 145,000 miles at a cost of 1.38 cents per mile. While the value of the miles from his promotion is still slightly high this is considered one of the best offers in months.
I am not sure whether Etihad will launch better promotions next year but if you are short of miles to redeem award seats on flights that are scheduled in the coming period, I would go for the extra miles.
