Gift Your Hertz Gold Plus Rewards Elite Status For Free

Hertz, today has once again launched the elite status gift promotion and this will potentially be great as you can gift the same status as you hold.

Gift Your Hertz Status For Free

Through December 31, 2022, Hertz’s elite members – Five Star and President Circle members, can gift their status to anyone. The gift status must be requested by the end of this year and once gifted, the status will be valid thru December 31, 2023.

Hertz’s elite status offers members some of the following benefits:

  • More points toward free rental days and upgrades
  • One-car-class upgrades
  • Add an additional driver for free

How To Gift Your Status

The procedure to gift your status is a straightforward process. You will first need to access the Hertz promotional link that has been emailed to you and fill up the form with your Hertz Gold Plus Rewards information.

Then, under your member information, you would need to fill up the recipient’s first and last name and email address. Keep in mind that the recipient must be a Hertz Rewards member too.

Once the form is filled up and upon clicking the yellow box with “Gift Status,” the recipient will presumably receive an email from Hertz within 1 to 3 business days.

Owning Hertz Five Star or President’s Circle status is definitely worth it in my experience. I frequently rent cars but there is no rewards program better than Hertz.

Summary

Through December 31, 2022, Hertz’s Gold Plus Rewards program is offering its Five Star and President’s Circle members a free gift status to anyone who is a member. This is great promotion when it comes to someone who frequently rents Hertz cars but does not has a status. Furthermore, the status gifted will be valid for one year, until December 13, 2023.
