Hawaiian Airlines New B787-9 Business Class Suites Details

The airline’s B787-9 Dreamliners will feature 34 suites, set in a 1-2-1 configuration with doors manufactured by Adient Aerospace. The suites offer extra privacy or a shared experience, with combined double seats creating a head-to-head bed that is great for couples. Keep in mind that, unlike the advertisement, the middle seats do not turn into a double bed.

If you notice the photos released, it is very similar to Qatar Airways’ Qsuite 2.0s that is installed on its B787-9s. It was also revealed by American Airlines that will introduce a modified version of this suite on its upcoming B787-9s in 2024.

Hawaiian has named the new Business Class Suite: Leihōkū, which means ‘garland of stars’ with fully lie-flat seating, an 18-inch in-flight entertainment screen, personal outlets and a wireless charging dock.

In developing the Leihōkū Suite, Hawaiian became the first airline to partner with Adient Aerospace – a joint venture between the Boeing Company and Adient, a world leader in automotive seats.
