IHG One Rewards program has also launched its first promotion of 2023 however it is quite weak compared to Marriott Bonvoy’s 2023 global promotion which launched on the same day.
IHG One Rewards 2023 Promotion: Earn 2,000 Points Every 2 Nights
IHG One program’s first promotion of 2023 offers members 2,000 bonus points for every two nights stayed at any IHG property. While the actual promotional dates will be between February 9, 2023, through April 14, 2023, the registration is now active.
The promotion has some terms and conditions to be aware of:
- Registration is mandatory before the stay.
- Room nights outside of the Promotion Period are not included, and room nights that are part of a stay that was completed prior to registration for the Promotion also are not included.
- A paid Qualifying Stay with a total spend exceeding US $30 (or local currency equivalent) for each night will be eligible for the promotion.
- Stays booked using Rewards Nights or Points & Cash are not eligible.
- The bonus points will be credited within 6 weeks after an eligible stay.
Since there is no limit on how many bonus points you can earn, based on the calculation, if you maxed out the offer, you will be able to earn a maximum of 64,000 bonus points.
I value IHG One point around 0.5 cents each so 64,000 points will have a value of around US$320 worth of value. Therefore if you have a long-term stay at cheaper IHG properties, indeed this will be quite a bonus for you.
