IHG One Rewards Bonus Points Package
The bonus points package is very useful on a stay consisting of long nights as it offers between 1,000 to 5,000 bonus points per night. These points are offered as “elite qualifying points” that can be earned to reach IHG One Rewards Gold, Platinum and Diamond status.
If you visit IHG’s website, you will be given two options for buying points:
- Stock up for travel
- Level up your tier
The former buy points offer is the usual points that do not count towards your elite qualification points and can only be redeemable on free night awards. However, the latter allows you to earn both redeemable points and elite qualifying points.

By choosing the bonus points, you can complete to booking with the “IHG One Rewards BONUS POINTS” rate on the final page. The estimated point earned will show the number of base points only so you can separately add the daily bonus points on top of the base point earned.
