The IHG One Rewards program just revealed the details of its upcoming summer 2023 promotion and it will be worth taking part if you frequently stay at IHG properties.
IHG One Rewards: Choose To Earn 2K Points Or 10K Points
Starting next Wednesday, May 24, 2023, until August 31, 2023, the IHG One Rewards program will be launching its newest summer 2023 global promotion. With the latest promotion, you will be able to choose to earn either 2,000 bonus points every two nights or 10,000 points every four nights.
To take advantage of this offer, registration is required prior to your stay or else you will not be earning the bonuses.
Here are a few terms and conditions you should be aware of:
- You can only register for one of the two offers
- Room nights outside of the Promotion Period are not included, and room nights that are part of a stay that was completed prior to registration for the Promotion also are not included
- The “Qualifying Stay” is defined as a minimum 1-night stay at a participating hotel booked under a Qualifying Rate, with a total spend exceeding $30 USD
- 0Stays booked using Rewards Nights or Points & Cash are not Promotion Eligible Qualifying Stays for purposes of this Promotion
- There is no limit on the bonus points
- Bonus points will be awarded within six weeks after checking out
Since there is no limit on how many bonus points you can earn, based on the calculation, if you maxed out the offer, you will be able to earn a maximum of 260,000 bonus points.
I value IHG One point around 0.5 cents each so 260,000 points will have a value of around US$1300 worth of value. Therefore if you have a long-term stay at cheaper IHG properties, indeed this will be quite a bonus for you.
