Last Chance! Buy IHG One Rewards Points, Get Up To 100% Bonus

Last Monday, IHG One Rewards launched a bonus points promotion when purchasing points. And today, October 21, will be the last day to get a bonus as the offer will end at 23:59 PM tonight.

IHG may launch a variety of promotions but it does not sell points so often with a 100% bonus. So I guess this will be the last bonus points for this year.

Buy IHG Points, Receive Up To 100% Bonus

Through tonight, October 21, 2022, members purchasing IHG One Rewards points will receive up to a 100% bonus. Keep in mind that this promotion is targeted meaning different members will receive different bonus offers. But the maximum bonus points as of now is 100%.

The bonus points will be applied to points purchased from 11,000 up to 150,000 points. 10,000 and below are not eligible for the bonuses. As I mention again, I have seen some members also have a different minimum purchase limit. So you’ll have to log in to your IHG One account to check out the bonus percentage you received.

How Much Do IHG One Rewards Points Cost

The IHG One Rewards Points cost US$0.0135 per point from 1,000 to 10,000 points and US$0.0115 from 11,000 points and onwards. The rate per point even gets even lower with the promotion.

Based on the 100% bonus offer, members will receive 300,000 points for just US$1,500. This is a great value given that the redemption rate starts from 10,000.

How Many IHG One Rewards Points Can Members Purchase

There is a limit of 150,000 points that can be bought per calendar year excluding the bonuses.

Redeeming IHG One Rewards Points

IHG One Rewards uses dynamic award pricing and there are no officially published award charts. While to cost to redeem for a night at an IHG property might vary, it usually has a fixed amount of points for a free night.

For example, a night at Intercontinental Grand Seoul Parnas costs 36,000 points to redeem. With the cash price costing nearly US$300 per night, you can redeem 8 nights with the points offer that has the same price as 5 paid nights.

IHG properties do not have blackout dates when redeeming award rooms but it does have capacity restrictions. This means the hotel only assigns a number of rooms that can be booked with points but once these rooms are fully booked, the remaining rooms must be only paid for in cash.

Summary

Today is the last day to purchase IHG One Rewards points with up to a 100% bonus. This promotion is targeted with some members receiving a 75% bonus while others got 100%.

Moreover, IHG does not frequently launch bonus points offer so if you are thinking of a stay at IHG properties, hurry, it’s your last chance to buy points for just 0.5 cents.
