Last year, Qantas revealed the rendering of how the new first class suite will look but without specific details. Well, today, the airline has finally revealed full details of the seat including the introduction of brand new business class seats.
Basis Of Qantas A350

On May 2022, the airline placed a firm order for 12 Airbus A350-1000s that will fly passengers non-stop from Australia to New York and London starting in late 2025. This new aircraft will be specifically called “Project Sunrise” flights.
And as of today, we are able to get to know in details of the cabin. The new A350-1000s will feature only 238 seats, which has much lesser seats compared to other A350 operators. It will give passengers a lot more space for their ultra-long-haul flights.

Not only are the new seats being installed, but Qantas will also install a wellbeing zone. This area is will be located between the premium economy and economy cabins for passengers to stretch their bodies during the flight.

Qantas Luxe First Suites
Qantas will install six first class suites in two rows of a 1-1-1 layout. These new suites will have the feeling that you are in a mini boutique hotel room. Furthermore, unlike ordinary first class seats out in the industry, these new suites will feature a separate bed and recliner chair, a personal wardrobe, a dining table for two and a large 32″ TV.

Qantas Brand New Business Class Seats
Now let’s go over the brand new business class seats. The new A350-1000s will feature 52 business class seats in a 1-2-1 layout. These seats will have direct aisle access and sliding doors to turn into a suite for privacy. Qantas will continue to configure the seats as staggered.
Further business class seat features include a two meter flat bed, spacious storage areas including a large mirror, cushioned leather ottoman, an 18″ TV and a large dining table. Each seat will also offer multiple personal devices charging options including wireless charging.

Australian designer David Caon said:
“All the design and service elements will work together to signigicantly improve inflight comfort, convenience and health and wellbeing and help minimise the old nemesis of jetlag.”
Compared to how impressive the first class suite is going to be, the business class seats are somehow standard than its competitors.

Qantas Will Offer Free High-Speed Inflight Wi-Fi Connectivity
One of the best features of the new A350s will be the complimentary Wi-Fi service. Qantas will offer fast and free high-speed Wi-Fi with partner Viasat as it completed the key satellite launch covering the Qantas international network.
With the introduction of onboard Wi-Fi connectivity, the A350 will be having the first on its whole long-haul network.
