Qatar Airways Privilege Club launched a conversion bonus promotion from select bank partners earlier this month and I want to remind you that the promotion will be ending in two weeks.
Transfer Bank Points To Qatar Airways Avios With A 30% Bonus
Through June 30, 2023, Qatar Airways Privilege Club is offering a conversion bonus when transferring select bank reward points to Avios. Furthermore, 10 members with the highest conversion amount will have a chance to win an additional 100,000 points – only if you transfer a minimum of 500.000 points.
Which Banks Participate For The Conversion Bonus?
If you have rewards points from the bank listed below, you can convert those points to Avios with a 30% bonus.
As you can see from the above list, there is American Express listed, however, keep in mind that only the American Express Membership Rewards programs from France and India are eligible for the offer.
On the other hand, another major bank program – the Citi Thankyou Rewards – has no country limitation. So in this case, the Thankyou Rewards program is the best to convert points.
Converted points will be posted on your Privilege Club account within 45 days depending on your bank programs.
Redeeming Qatar Airways Privilege Club Avios
The Privilege Club program offers excellent award pricing when traveling on Qatar Airways but at the same time, it is also hard to find those regular award seats due to heavy demand. Recently, I have found some great award sweet spots which could be useful when it comes to redeeming those converted Avios.
It is quite a straightforward process to redeem the Avios on award tickets. You can even transfer between British Airways Executive Club or Iberia Plus if you find better awards on these two programs.
