Celebrating Saudi Arabia’s 92nd National Day, SAUDIA’s frequent flyer program, ALFURSAN, is offering an interactive Rewards Calendar. The offer is called “Journey of Rewards” and for the next five days, ALFURSAN is revealing one offer each day.

As of today, September 22, there are two offers already revealed:
- Offer 1: 92% Bonus Miles
- Offer 2. A: IHG
- Offer 2. B: Rotana
- Offer 3: Booking.com
- Offer 4: SIXT
- Offer 5: SAUDIA
So these two offers are published and three more will be announced soon. I will go over each offers that are currently available.
Buy ALFURSAN Miles and Receive Up to 92% Bonus
From September 15, 2022 until September 23, 2022, members purchasing ALFURSAN miles will receive the following bonuses:
- 50% bonus for 5,000-39,000 Miles purchased.
- 70% bonus for 40,000-69,000 Miles purchased.
- 92% bonus for 70,000-80,000 Miles purchased.
The minimum amount of miles required to purchase is 5,000 while the maximum is 80,00 per calendar year.
Double ALFURSAN Miles on IHG Hotels & Resorts
The offer 2A revealed is earning double miles when staying at IHG properties around the world. ALFURSAN members must be IHG One Rewards members and the earning preference must be selected to ALFURSAN miles in order to receive double miles.
The earning rate is 1ALFURSAN miles per USD$1 spent on IHG hotels and resorts.
The booking must be made between August 17, 2022, thru November 30, 2022, and stays must be between September 18, 2022, to December 31, 2022.
Doubel ALFURSAN Miles on Rotana Hotels
On offer 2B, ALFURSAN members will earn double miles when staying at Rotana hotels. For those who are new to the Rotana brand, it is Abu Dhabi-based hotel management corporation founded in the 1990s. I frequently stayed at Centro Capital Doha as it offered a really good rate per night or to stay during long layovers.
The miles earning rate at Rotana hotels are little different compared to other hotel properties. Alfursan Members are entitled to up to 1500 reward miles based on the room type:
- Standard Room: 500 miles
- Executive Room: 1,000 miles
- Suite Room: 1,500 miles
The above earning rate is before the double miles are applied. So during the promotion, members staying in each category of rooms will receive double the above amount.
All bookings and stays on Rotana hotels must be made between September 17, 2022, thru December 31, 2022.
I find out that the earning rate is based on stay than the amount paid. So this is really great to earn miles as there is no maximum cap.
Earn 3 ALFURSAN Reward Miles for every 3 SAR spent on Booking.com
On offer 3, ALFURSAN members will earn 3 miles when spending 3 SAR (US$0.80) on the Booking.com website when booking accommodation. The hotel must be booked from September 16 thru September 24, 2022, and stays must be made between September 16 to December 31, 2022.
One great thing about this offer is there is no maximum cap. So if you book a hotel costing US$10,000, you’ll be able to earn 12,000 miles at once.
The miles earned will be credited within 8 weeks after checking out from the property.
Earn Double Miles and Get 1 Day For Free With SIXT KSA
The fourth offer ALFURSAN allows members to earn double miles on SIXT car rentals in Saudi Arabia. Additionally, members who rent for more than two days will get 1 free day.
The rental booking and rental must be made from September 20 to October 1, 2022. Also up to 1,000 miles can be earned on this promotion.

SAUDIA
The last remaining offer is called SAUDIA. With this offer, domestic flights within the Kingdom, cost as low as SAR 92 or US$25. While many of us won’t have that much interest since it’s a promotion on domestic flights, it is good for those who are planning to travel to Saudi Arabia this winter.
The flights must be booked by tomorrow, September 23, 2022, and the travel dates must be between January 1, 2023, to March 31, 2023. So hurry before these promotional fares are sold out!
Redeem ALFURSAN Miles
SAUDIA’s ALFURSAN program is not competitive as other Skyteam partners as it is still less known among frequent flyers outside the Kingdom. The airline has published an award chart based on zones.
Redeeming ALFURSAN miles are great when flying on domestic and select European destinations but it spikes up when traveling to the US. You can check out the award chart below:

SAUDIA is continuously expanding its routes for the Vision2030 program and the airline is planning to launch more routes around the world. I personally do not collect miles with the ALFURSAN program but if you are, this is another good opportunity to earn miles on SAUDIA.
