Celebrating TAP Air Portugal’s 78 years anniversary, the Miles&Go program is offering triple status miles for members.
TAP Miles&Go Offering Triple Status Miles
Through December 15, 2023, the TAP’s frequent flyer program is offering triple status miles for flights that are booked between March 14, 2023, thru March 19, 2023.
I will go over a brief introduction to the Miles&Go program. The program has three tiers – the basic tier, silver and gold tier, which is their highest tier. To achieve each tier you must be earning:
- 30.000 Status Miles /25 TAP flights to reach silver
- 70.000 Status Miles / 50 TAP flights to reach gold
The promotion itself looks good as you can earn triple status miles that can be used to fast-track to reach or retain your tier. However, there is a catch with the offer as it has capped the maximum status miles to be earned to 5,000 miles.
As you earn miles based on a percentage of flown miles on TAP or other Star Alliance partners, 5,000 miles can be earned relatively easily even if you do not take advantage of the promotion. Additionally, the program allows you to transfer Bonus miles into status miles at a rate of 2:1.
Here are the terms and conditions for this promotion:
- Members can accumulate 3x more Status Miles, with a maximum of 5,000 Status Miles in this campaign
- Ticket reservations must be between the 14th and 19th of March, 2023
- The extra Status Miles will be credited up to 10 business days after the flight miles are credited to the TAP Miles&Go Account
Other Ways Of Earning Miles&Go Status Miles
There are many ways to easily earn status miles. Regardless of the promotions, TAP constantly offers great business class deals from Europe to the US and with just a one round-trip flight you can earn around 10,000 status miles easily.
Another way is to transfer Marriott Bonvoy points to miles and then convert the miles to status miles.
