Alaska Airlines has returned again with the flash sale. Through November 2, 2022, 11:59 PM (PT), Alaska Airlines is offering one-way flights as low as $39.
Alaska Airlines One-Way From $39
The flash sale is available on most of Alaska’s network with fares that are relatively lower than the original pricing. There are some restrictions but no specific travel dates for this sale and the discounted fares are available through September 2023.
Here is a flash sale calendar on a flight from San Francisco to Las Vegas. You can see that even on New Year’s day, you are able to book a flight four times cheaper than on regular days.
And here are the fares without the discount applied. Of course, the ‘Saver Fare’ has its own restrictions compared to the ‘Main’ fares such as no changes allowed but Alaska’s saver fare still allows passengers to carry on items and use overhead bins. So I find it not that bad.
Earning Miles On Alaska Airlines’ Saver Fare
The ‘Saver’ fare is the most restrictive fare class (X) on Alaska Airlines. But you are still able to earn 100% miles when crediting to the Alaska Airlines Mileage Plan program. As Alaska Airlines became a Oneworld member, crediting to select partners is also possible but the rates are unpleasant.
American Airlines AAdvantage or British Airways Executive Club will only earn 25% of the miles so I would rather put it on the Mileage Plan.
