Velocity Offer: Save Up To AU$400 With Hawaiian Airlines

Virgin Australia’s Velocity frequent flyer program is having a promotion when flying with Hawaiian Airlines to Hawaii and 15 mainland US destinations.

AU$75 Off On Economy Class

Velocity frequent flyer members who book round trip Hawaiian Airlines flights to Hawaii or to the mainland US will receive AU$75 off their purchases. In order to get the discounts, you have to apply a promotional code “VELOCITY22” on Hawaiian Airlines’ website.

Also, the booking must be made by October 30, 2022 with the travel dates between February 1, 2023, thru March 31, 2022. And the point of departure is strictly to Sydney and Brisbane, Australia.

I did some findings and a round trip economy class from Sydney to Los Angeles costs AU$1367.7 whereas the original fare costs AU$1449.

AU$400 Off On Business Class

While Velocity members save less than AU$100, the business class has AU$400 discounts. But given the price of the ticket, the applied discount feels like nothing. The booking dates are the same as above and a couple of terms and conditions you must beware of.

  •  No stopovers permitted.
  • Travel is from Sydney or Brisbane to Honolulu and four neighboring Island and 15 US Mainland destinations.

Earning Velocity Points On Hawaiian Airlines

The number of Velocity Points members will earn with Hawaiian Airlines is based on the fare class and the number of miles, so the higher your fare type, the more Points to earn. There are two different earning charts when using Hawaiian Airlines:

  • Inter-Island Flights within Hawaii
  • Flights between Hawaii & North America, and International Flights

On the inter-island flights, members will earn:

And for the rest of the domestic and international flights:

Velocity’s frequent flyer reward is offering discounts on Hawaiian Airlines. To take advantage of the offer, the promotional code “VELOCITY22” must be added before the reservation.

Velocity members will also be able to earn miles and status credits when flying on Hawaiian Airlines. Keep in mind that the fight must be codeshared with Virgin Australia.
